The Yates RS Tone Ring
The tone ring used in our RS
model was developed
by Warren Yates and Ron Stewart to perform only as the best of
the best prewar rings do. They are available only in our
RS models. These rings are
designed as no hole and unplated. These rings are cast
and hand turned by Warren Yates. |

The ability to melt and cast bronze
certainly comes at a price. |

It takes two sections to make one
compressed sand mold. |

Checking to see if the metal is up to
2000 degrees |

Pouring a tone ring casting
|

All I can say is it is HOT! |

Once the molten bronze is poured into
the sand and cooled, the sand can then be chipped off and
reused.
|
|

Now that the sand has been removed, the
gates and risers can be removed and the machining can begin.
|

Once the sand has been cleaned off of
the casting, it is hand turned. All rings are turned by Warren
Yates only.
